A Dangerous Path To Freedom

9 Mar

I see these walls and steps that I am walking on and I realize that I will never walk them again. I will never touch these walls again. These are my last days on this castle. Tomorrow I will be on the run.

I was forced to marry this despot who calls himself king. But he never knew the true meaning of this word. My father was the real king.

I will sacrifice everything only to get free from this tyranny of his. The only way to do so is to kill him and run as far as possible. I will live in poverty maybe but it is worth it. I have to do it otherwise I will be the dead instead.

And so I walk these steps the last time preparing myself for the most dangerous path in my life. Till this time I was the oppressed one. But not anymore.

She is prepared and determined for revenge toward the horrible “king.” Her husband? Wonderful story, and well done! Welcome to the FFfAW challenge! We are happy you have joined us!

Yes, she does not want to be the weak one anymore. She is determined to leave her previous life of wealth and despotic husband and follow her desire to be free.

I certainly don’t blame her. Freedom is worth more than money. Wonderful story!

I love that sense of determination to stand up and face whatever foe is before us. Well done
