We fear the unknown that makes us small and vulnerable.

But in the same time we need to live in the same world with our biggest fear.

We need to find the way to coexist with the fear, to adaptate and to find the balance. “Make peace, not war”.

This post was written for TLT challenge.

Thaw: #writephoto – The New Beginning

“This is is! This is the place!” Jacob yelled. The rest of the group was long way behind him. He just couldn’t wait anymore. He wanted to get there as quick as possible.

They were on the road for months looking for the right place to stay. They already named it “their new home” even they didn’t know how the place looked like yet.

Men were looking for a new place to build houses for their families after their village was burned down by the hateful tribe of the man called Yellow Feather. They lost everything. But they did not lose their honor.

Women admired them for that. For their strong will and determination to find another land and start over. Women were broken but they knew they had to go on. For their men, for their children…for themselves. For the tribe.

The group approached the new promised land. One by one stepped on the fresh snow that covered most of the meadow and some of the rocks near the river. New energy started to flow in their veins. They found their Eden.

A Love for Winter

27 Dec

When I was a kid I used to wish the cold winter to be over as soon as possible. Snow? OK, maybe just for a couple of days to build a snowman or to make snowball battles.
As I got older,  winter wonderland got me. And it got me good. I mean look at the trees covered by the frost.

No, it is not photo-shopped. This is real, my friend. It was taken in the beautiful mountains of Slovakia. The nature there is breathtaking. Every step that you make there is a pleasure.

Every minute of hiking was a treat to my soul…

today we breath, we walk, we live

far away is the noisy mad world

You and Me

26 Dec

Wherever you go I go.

You look at me without saying a word. But there is no need for words.

I know that from now on you are mine and I am yours.
