The Warning

24 May

– Adam Hague

The forest was calm and I was in peace
when suddenly,
It came like a big shout out,
passing around me like a ghost.
All that pain and sorrow,
all that screaming.
I knew it was something unbearable.
There was only a few times I felt so sure.
And this time I knew,
that it was time to run.

TLT: Days Of Sorrow

19 May

all those letters that I waited from you, not knowing if you come back
those days full of sorrow, when I thought you were dead
but I can’t wait no more, my heart is slowly cracking instead

The Stars

18 May

“Smile Betsy, smile! Have you ever seen so many cameras?” Emily whispered through her teethes to her friend and partner on battlefield, her beloved Betsy. Emily was overwhelmed by all that attention they got.

“I’d rather be on my B-42 again.” Betsy whispered back.

Not used to be famous and praised they both were awkwardly standing on the field among the battle aircraft.

Betsy and Emily were the very first women to survive the worst air attack on Britain during the war. Unaware of their even more famous future to come, they both were just wishing to get done with this posing for reporters.

They loved to be a part of something big as fighting in a war. Until the day they both learned the hard way how all the faces of war really look like…

Utopia

17 May

Deep wide ocean surounds me
and I breath that fresh air,
deep into my lungs.

This is my personal world,
my private Idaho.
Too small boat you’d think,
but it is the biggest boat,
that I’ve ever bern on.

Birds flying around me.
I am finally free,
this is my Utopia.

Longing For Old Days

16 May

found on pinterest

I would give everything
to rush through those streets again,
not knowing what am I rushing for.

Those times deep in the past,
but not forgotten in my heart.
When we all were young and free,
wishing for one more day like this,
a day which ended with peace.

I long for that lightness,
which does not exist anymore.
Those perfect days are long gone.
And I hear these streets roar…

Haiku For Sunday Evening: Life

worship this moment,
crazy little thing called life,
always be as you are.

Foggy Morning

14 May

At the end of this foggy path
that’s where I will find you.
At least that is what I hope for.
You left on the foggy morning.
I was watching you walking away,
standing on the front porch,
unable to say a word,
my heart slowly cracking.
Today it is me taking the same foggy path.

Hope is my only companion.
Hope is my strenght and weapon.
Hope is what brought me to this path.
Hope that you are out there somewhere,
waiting for me to take you home.

You left without looking back.
But I never left that porch.
Night and day sitting and waiting
for you to come to me.
On this foggy morning I wait no more.
The mountain is calling my name.

At the end of this foggy path,
thats’s where I find you.
For in my heart I have never let you go.

A Getaway Ticket

12 May

I run and I run,
not looking behind.
Forever is my new favourite word.
That’s what I am running for.

I know this is what I need to do,
it is just the hardest thing I had to go through.
I chose a life without prejudice and hatred.
And this run is my getaway ticket.

So I run and I run,
till the light warms up my face.

Tanka For Sunday Evening: The Gloom

Sloaping in the strong wind.
Exhaustion is what I feel.
Solitude is here.
Dark clouds approach my shoulders.
The gloom soaks me up and I am gone.

TLT: The Harmony

I looked on his right side and saw the light warmimg up my cheecks, making me feel safe.

I looked on his left side and saw the darkness, clouds gathering and I knew something bad was up.

But then I found the middle line, that keeps harmony between his good and bad sides. Now I know life is not only about the beautiful sunrises.
